Pricing & Payment

Pricing & payment

How much does a dumpster rental or junk removal cost?

We price by the volume your material takes up, so you only pay for the space you use. Driveway-friendly roll-off dumpsters start around $585, and most full-service junk and debris jobs land between about $150 and $600. Every job gets a free, up-front quote. See dumpster rental and junk removal, or call (866) 345-5646.

Does the price include delivery and pickup?

Yes. Your roll-off dumpster rate includes delivery, pickup, and disposal up to the included weight allowance.

When and how do I pay?

Payment for a dumpster rental is due prior to delivery. We accept credit and debit cards, Venmo, and cash. If you pay cash, please have exact change, since our drivers do not carry cash.

Do you charge by weight or by volume?

Full-service junk removal is priced by the volume your load takes up in the truck. Roll-off dumpster rentals are a flat rate that includes a set weight allowance. Either way, you get the price up front.

Do you offer free junk removal?

We are a full-service paid hauler, so the removal itself is not free, but your estimate always is. We keep your cost down by donating usable items to local charities and recycling what we can.

How far ahead should I book?

A day or two is plenty for most jobs, and we can often do same-day or next-day. For a specific delivery window (or a big contractor swap schedule) a little more notice helps us hit your timeline. Booking online or a quick call locks it in.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes – a flat, all-in quote is free, by phone or online. You’ll know the price, size, rental window, and included weight before anything is delivered.

Should I rent a dumpster or book junk removal?

Rent a dumpster if you want to load at your own pace over several days (a DIY remodel, a slow garage purge) – you fill it, we haul it. Choose full-service junk removal services if you want it gone today with zero lifting. Many customers do both: a dumpster for the project, then a junk-removal visit for the heavy or awkward leftovers. We offer both, so we’ll help you pick.

Should I tip the junk removal crew?

It’s never expected, but always appreciated when the crew goes above and beyond. If you’d like to, common tips are around 10-20% of the job for tough removals, or $10-20 per crew member for a simple pickup. What matters most to us is that the job’s done right.

How do I avoid junk-removal scams or surprise fees?

Get an upfront, all-in price before any work starts, and use a licensed, insured, reviewed local company. We quote the flat price on site before we load, we’re a licensed C-61/D-63 contractor (CSLB #1141643), insured, disabled-veteran-owned, and locally reviewed – so the price you approve is the price you pay.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes – a free, upfront flat quote before we start. For most jobs we can quote from a few photos or on arrival; you approve the price before we lift a thing.

Sizes & Placement

Dumpster sizes & placement

What size dumpster do I need?

A quick rule of thumb: a 13-yard suits a garage cleanout, small remodel, or yard project; a 15-yard is our go- to monthly contractor swap; and a 20-yard handles larger remodels, roofing, and big cleanouts or bulky items. When in doubt, size up one – it’s cheaper than a second haul. Tell us your project and we’ll match the size.

Will a roll-off dumpster fit in my driveway?

Almost always. Our dumpsters are about 6 to 7.5 feet wide (roughly a parking spot) and 14 to 16 feet long, while most driveways are 9 to 24 feet wide and 18 to 20 feet long. For tight or steep driveways we also offer hooklift placement.

Can I choose where the dumpster is placed?

We place most dumpsters on your driveway, and when necessary, we use boards under the container to protect the surface. If your driveway is tight, steep, or narrow, our hooklift trucks can set a box where standard roll-off trucks can’t. Street placement is possible too, but may need a city permit (see the permit question).

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Vista?

If the dumpster sits on private property such as your driveway, you typically do not need a permit. If it must go on the street or public property, you may need a permit from the city. We are happy to help guide you through it.

What Goes In

What can & can’t go in a dumpster

Can I put concrete, dirt, or heavy debris in the dumpster?

Yes. As a licensed C-61/D-63 contractor we can legally haul heavy material like concrete, dirt, and asphalt, which most junk haulers cannot. Heavy debris usually goes in a dedicated container because of weight limits, so tell us what you are disposing of and we will set you up correctly.

What items can’t go in the dumpster?

Prohibited items include batteries, electronics (TVs, computers, monitors, printers), large and small appliances, tires, treated wood, light bulbs, items containing mercury, household cleaners, paint, oils, propane tanks, and flammable or toxic materials. Loads are inspected and prohibited items can incur fines, so please keep these out.

Can I mix different types of debris?

Yes, you can mix most non-hazardous materials, including household items, construction debris, yard waste, and furniture. Just keep out the prohibited items above, which need special disposal.

Delivery & Scheduling

Delivery & scheduling

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes. Same-day and next-day drop-off is one of our strengths – nearly half of our rentals go out same or next day. Call in the morning and we can often have a dumpster in your driveway that day across North County.

Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?

-Yes, someone must be available to point out what stays and what goes.

Will I be notified before the dumpster arrives?

Yes. You will get a text message letting you know the driver is on the way, with a two-hour arrival window.

How long can I keep the dumpster, and can I change the date?

Our standard rental period covers most projects, and you can extend it with a quick call. To change or cancel a delivery date, just call the office at (866) 345-5646.

Services

Junk removal & services

What’s the difference between junk removal and dumpster rental?

Junk removal is full-service: our crew comes to you, loads everything, and hauls it away, so you never lift a thing. Dumpster rental lets you load at your own pace over several days. Both are available across North County San Diego.

Do you remove furniture, appliances, mattresses, and hot tubs?

Yes. We handle furniture and appliance removal, mattress disposal, and hot tub and spa removal, doing all the heavy lifting and recycling or donating whatever we can.

Do you do estate cleanouts and hoarding cleanups?

We do. We handle full estate and foreclosure cleanouts and discreet, compassionate hoarding cleanups across North County San Diego, working at your pace.

Can you legally haul construction and demolition debris?

Yes. Being a licensed C-61/D-63 contractor is what lets us legally load and haul construction and demolition debris, including concrete and asphalt, which most pickup-truck junk haulers cannot.
