A Disabled-Veteran-Owned, Family-Operated Team in Vista
Lightweight Debris Removal is a disabled-veteran family owned dumpster rental and junk removal company, built and run by Will and Cristina Parrish right here in Vista, North County San Diego. When you call us, you get the owners, not a call center.
Will & Cristina Parrish
Will is a disabled United States military veteran, a licensed California contractor, and the guy who shows up on the truck and runs the Bobcat on most jobs. Cristina runs the office, the billing, and the customer care that keeps everything moving. Together they built Lightweight Debris Removal into a company their North County neighbors can count on, one honest job at a time.
We started this business in 2021 with a simple idea: treat people the way we would want to be treated, do the work right, and never surprise a customer with a hidden fee. That is still how we operate today, whether we are dropping a roll-off dumpster in a Vista driveway or hauling a full estate cleanout across San Diego County.
Why families choose Lightweight Debris Removal
Hear it straight from us: what it means to hire a family-owned, veteran-owned dumpster rental and junk removal company in Vista.
The stack no other North County hauler combines
Plenty of companies rent dumpsters. Very few bring everything we do to the table at once. That combination is why homeowners, contractors, and property managers across North County San Diego choose us over the national chains.

The paperwork behind the promise
We are a licensed California specialty contractor (C-61/D-63), Will holds a Class A CDL, and we are bonded and fully insured through NEXT Insurance. We are accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and we recycle and donate through Green Halo Systems, which means you get a receipt showing exactly where your materials ended up. When you hire a hauler, licensing and insurance protect you, and we are proud to have all of ours in order.
Lightweight Debris Removal is also 1 of 3 finalists for Small Business of the Year at the 2026 Heroes of Vista Awards, presented by the Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Vista Education Foundation.
Nobody gets turned away over a budget
We set money aside out of paid jobs to cover the dump fees for seniors and disabled residents who cannot cover them, and on those jobs the labor goes in free. Veterans and active duty get 15% off every job, always.
Part of the community we serve
Vista is not just where we work, it is where we live. We are proud members of the Vista Chamber of Commerce, we sponsor the local Vista Christmas parade, and we were honored to be featured in Vista Magazine. Being local means we are invested in this community for the long haul, and it shows in how we treat every customer and every neighborhood, from Shadowridge to Vista Village and across North County San Diego.
That community-first mindset is also why we work so hard to keep usable items out of the landfill. Donating and recycling is not just good for the planet, it is good for the neighbors who can use those items, and it is one more way we try to leave North County a little better than we found it.
15% off for fellow veterans
As a disabled-veteran-owned company, supporting those who served matters to us. Fellow veterans get 15% off any dumpster rental or junk removal job. Just let us know when you call and we will apply it to your quote. It is a small thank you for a big sacrifice.
Trusted across North County San Diego
Our reputation is built on dozens of five-star reviews from homeowners, contractors, and businesses across Vista and North County. People tell us the same things again and again: we show up when we say we will, the price is honest, the crew is respectful, and the job gets done right. That is the standard the owners set, and it is the standard on every job.
About Lightweight Debris Removal
Are you really veteran-owned?
Yes. Lightweight Debris Removal is a disabled-veteran-owned, family-operated company. Will is a disabled United States military veteran, and he and Cristina own and run the business together right here in Vista.
Do I actually work with the owner?
You do. There is no call center and no rotating crew of strangers. The owner is involved in scheduling, delivery, and quality, and is on most jobs personally. That accountability is the whole point of hiring a local, family-run company.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes – we’re a licensed, insured and bonded in the state of California as a C-61/D-63 construction clean-up contractor (CSLB #1141643) That license lets us legally haul subcontracted construction debris, which most junk haulers can’t do. We’re also a disabled-veteran-owned, family-run local business.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Vista and serve all of North County San Diego, including Oceanside, Camp Pendleton, Carlsbad, Escondido, San Marcos, Encinitas, and the surrounding communities, for both dumpster rental and junk removal.
Do you offer a discount for veterans?
We do. Fellow veterans get 15% off any dumpster rental or junk removal job. Just mention it when you call and we will apply it to your quote.
Can contractors set up a recurring dumpster account?
Yes – we run contractor and builder accounts with recurring swaps (our 15-yard monthly swap is built for this), priority scheduling, and consistent flat pricing. Ask about setting up an account for your jobsites.
Are you insured and local?
Yes – we’re insured, licensed (C-61/D-63, CSLB #1141643), and a family-run, disabled-veteran-owned business based in Vista serving North County San Diego. You’re hiring a local crew, not a call center.
